Dream Cortex’s Baby Flash Cards Reaches 10,000 Downloads!

We are very happy to announce that our first Apple iPhone App, Baby Flash Cards, has exceeded the 10,000 downloads mark over just two weeks. We would like to say thank you to those of you who have downloaded the app and we are glad that you enjoy playing it with your kids. Baby Flash Cards now ranks number 27 on Apple Store as the most popular iPhone Apps under the education category, and ranks numebr 13 under the free download education category.

We have the latest version of Baby Flash Cards uploaded to Apple Store, with the reported bugs and errors being fixed. Thanks again to those who sent us the bug reports.

Hello Kitty Online is coming to North America

Great news for fans of Hello Kitty Online from North America! Sanrio Digital and Aeria Games & Entertainment, an US based online games publisher, announced the launch of Hello Kitty Online in North America. The announcement was made at the 2009 GDC (Game Developer Conference), held at San Francisco’s Moscone Center from March 23-27.

Early this month there were also announcements about Hello Kitty Online to be available in Indonesia and Philippines.

Dream Cortex wins the DigiCon6 Award 2008 (Hong Kong) “Prize for Effort” Certificate

Dream Cortex today announced that the animated TV series produced in partnership with Sanrio Digital, The Adventures of Hello Kitty & Friends, has won the DigiCon6 Award 2008 “Prize for Effort” Certificate for the Hong Kong region. The Hong Kong regional award ceremony was held this afternoon (March 25th 2008) at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.

The DigiCon6 Awards, organized by Japan TBS (Tokyo Broadcasting System), has been one of the most recognized animation awards in Japan. The award is opened to Japan and other Asian countries including China, Hong Kong, Korea, Singapore, India, Taiwan, Jordan, Thailand and Malaysia.

There there a total of 2,248 entries for the 10th DigiCon6 Awards.

Kitty Blocks Flash game now available on McDonald’s

Check out this new “Kitty Blocks” Flash game that Dream Cortex created for McDonald’s Austria. The objective is to align at least three similar blocks and to make them disappear from the screen. The more correct alignment that you could make, the higher score that you could gain. “Kitty Blocks” is made up of different levels, so see how far you can go!

Hello Kitty Online “Happy Hearts” Launched

As of February 12, 2009 at 22:00 EST, the Hello Kitty Online “Happy Hearts” Valentine’s event is officially underway! Founders can now log into the game and embark on a race to save Cupid.

Special Valentine’s Day-Themed Quests
Valentine’s Day under threat! Cupid is missing and so are the romance and friendship of the season. It is up to players of Hello Kitty Online to save Valentine’s Day and prevent the collapse of the greeting card industry. Exclusive items will be awarded to the first players to complete the quest chain.

Starting February 14, SanrioTown members from selected territories can also log in and participate in the “Happy Hearts” event. “Happy Hearts” will end on February 17, 2009 at exactly 22:00 (10pm) EST. Hello Kitty Online will then be taken offline for further work.
